Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro is probably, together with Serengeti, one of the most well known national parks in Tanzania and maybe in whole Africa. Ngorongoro is 8292 kmē big, but the crater floor is only 266 kmē big. Even though the crater is very small, a lot of animals lives there, approximately 25,000 larger animals lives whithin the crater.
Ngorongoro is also famous for the lions living ther, the reason is the black-maned males living in the crater. Another reason to why Ngorongoro is so celebrated is because it is the absolutely the best place in Tanzania to see the Black Rhino.
Animal Species
It is possible to see many different animals during a game drive in the Ngorongoro crater.
Some examples are Elephant, Wildebeest, Zeebra, Lion, Flamingo, Rhinoceros (Rhino), Leopard, Cheetah, Hyena, Warthog, Impala, Buffalo, Hartebeest and Eland
