Serengeti
Serengeti is probably one of the most well kown National parks in Tanzania. It is famous because of the extensive steppe that almost seems to have no end. Serengeti is a Maasaian word which means "never ending steppe".
Serengeti national park is with its 30,000 kmē one of the biggest National parks in Tanzania.
The Great Migration
The Great Migration is what Serengeti is most famous for. During the migration, which takes place in June, nearly two million Wildebeests and Zeebras wanders against Lake Victoria, searching for pasture and water. This is a really magnificent sight.
