Terms and Conditions

Reservations
On receipt of your non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total price we will, reserve your tour.
Full payment is required 40 days prior to arrival. Bookings made within 40 days of arrival must be accompanied by full payment. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for which the total tour price has not been paid by the due date, in which event the deposit paid will be forfeited. No amendments to itineraries will be accepted less than 40 days before departure date.

Your booking must be made in writing and will be effective on the date of receipt in our offices.
The following cancellation fees apply and must be in writing, signed by the client, received and acknowledge by Laris Safaris Ltd.


The reason for cancellation shall be confirmed by a doctor`s certificate or a family relationship certificate.
Should you fail to join a tour, or join it after departure, or leave it prior to completion, no refund can be made.

Insurance
Passengers should insure that they have comprehensive insurance before travelling for cancellation, medical expenses, personal baggage, money etc.

Passport, Visas and Health Requirements
The responsibility rests with the client that passports, visas and health requirements are valid during the visit.

Participation
Persons not fit for long journey due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy or mental illness should not participate in these Safaris. Remember that the trip is on your own risk.

Responsibility
Laris Safais Ltd is in all respects the agent and operator of the client. Laris Safaris Ltd books the transportation, accommodation, restaurants, adventure activities and other services. Laris Safaris Ltd has made every attempt to choose the best suppliers available but has no right to control the suppliers and cannot be liable for any personal injury or property damage which may occur due to: wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omission on the part of a supplier, its employees and others.
Laris Safaris Ltd cannot held responsible for:

  1. Problems such as vehicle breakdowns as well as unusual weather conditions.
  2. Infrastructure in the country causes adverse effects which prevent to deliver the usual standard of service. Safaris are by the nature, adventure and as such, changes in the details and timing of an itinerary can vary from time to time, depending on conditions prevailing and facilities available.
  3. Laris Safaris Ltd has made every attempt to give the services as an experienced competent and trustworthy operator who will do the best to supply the agreed itinerary and service. Laris Safaris Ltd cannot, however, be liable for any routine or extraordinary variations to any tour or other problems that may arise.
  4. Laris Safaris Ltd cannot be liable for temporary or permanent loss of baggage it is the responsibility of the client.
  5. Laris Safaris Ltd will not cancel a tour unless it becomes necessary to do so as a result of hostilities, war, civil strife, natural disaster fire or adverse weather conditions. In the event of any cancellation Laris Safaris Ltd will inform the client without delay and make every effort to offer comparable alternative.
